The difference between the Climate App Store and Greenly’s Carbon Footprint Assessment
One of the main services that Greenly provides is carbon footprint assessments. Our carbon footprint assessments allow small and medium size companies to easily calculate their greenhouse gas emissions, and to build custom action plans with the help of our climate experts, to reduce their carbon footprint.

Step 1: create an account
The Climate App Store is a catalogue of free and paid applications created by our team of climate experts.
But in order to access this incredible resource companies must first create an account to access the catalogue of applications. It's a very simple process that only requires your contact information - ie. your name, email, phone, and company name.
Once you’ve completed this simple step, you’ll be able to explore the full catalogue and access detailed descriptions of Greenly’s applications to help you select the one that is most relevant and helpful to your company.
Step 2: select the right calculator
Greenly’s Climate App Store catalogue offers a wide range of applications that cater to the needs of different sectors. You’ll be able to select an application from one of the following eight categories:
General Apps
- Quick Carbon Calculator - This application enables companies to quickly and easily calculate the overall CO2 emissions linked to their office, travel, vehicle fleet and operations.
- Offset Marketplace - No matter how much we try to eliminate emissions, some are simply unavoidable. Companies can choose to compensate for this by offsetting their emissions. Greenly’s Offset Marketplace details certified carbon offset projects that companies can select in order to offset their unavoidable emissions.
Compliance and Reporting:
- There are a number of regulations that require companies to provide information such as their greenhouse gas emissions, their ESG data, and environmental and sustainability disclosure information. Greenly offers a variety of export apps to help streamline this process. Our apps allow companies to easily upload the information required by regulations such as the SECR, CSRD, TCFD, and CDP.
Digital and Tech
- Digital activities are often overlooked when it comes to carbon emissions, but these activities can be responsible for a significant portion of a company’s emissions. Step 3: measure emissions
Once you’ve chosen an application, your company will then need to provide the requested data in order to receive the company’s detailed carbon footprint.
