All FAQs
  • A carbon assessment (or GHG assessment) is the process of measuring how much greenhouse gases are produced by an individual or organisation.

  • Conducting a carbon assessment involves 3 steps:

    1. Identifying greenhouse gas emission sources (internal and external);
    2. Converting data to its CO2 equivalent for analysis;
    3. Defining priority improvement areas.
  • Greenly calculates your emissions (scopes 1, 2 and 3) and studies the physical and financial flows tied to your activities. We gather your company’s activity data and convert it into greenhouse gases through a methodology aligned with global standards (GHG Protocol).

  • Scopes 1, 2, and 3 represent different categories of greenhouse gas emissions :

    Scope 1: direct emissions ;

    Scope 2: energy-related indirect emissions ;

    Scope 3: other indirect emissions (suppliers, transport, etc.).

    Greenly helps track and reduce them.

  • The cost varies depending on company size and scope (1, 2, 3). For SMEs, it’s around €10,000 for a full assessment. French public subsidies can cover up to 50%, capped at €15,000.
