Greenhouse gases, definition

Greenhouse gases are present in the Earth’s atmosphere and trap heat, which ultimately further aggravate global warming. Common greenhouse gases include methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, water vapor, and fluorinated gases. Most notably, greenhouse gases are often emitted from the burning of fossil fuels.
